This Extraordinary Study Promises Reversal of Osteoarthritis & Relief with Two Herb Combo

Osteoarthritis is the number one cause of joint pain and functional limitations in the world. There are no drugs that can slow or prevent its progression. But there just might be a couple of herbs!

This double-blind study is the first to explore the effect of a combination of boswellia and celery seed extracts on people with mild to moderate osteoarthritis.

62 people were given 300mg of boswellia extract and 250mg of celery seed extract for 90 days.

The results were remarkable. The people on the herbs reported a 67.7% improvement in symptoms versus a 7.5% improvement in the placebo group.

Total WOMAC osteoarthritis scores improved by 64% in the herb group but by only 4.4% on placebo. Pains scores improved by 78.2% on the boswellia and celery seed while they barely changed on placebo. Stiffness scores improved by 78% on the herbs versus only 0.7% on placebo. The herb group experienced a 57.8% improvement in immobility scores compared to 4.1% improvement on placebo.

Impressively, every person who was taking the herbs improved their total WOMAC osteoarthritis score by more than 40%. No one in the placebo group did.

On a 6-minute walking test, the placebo group only improved from 188.9 meters to 193 meters, while the boswellia and celery seed group improved from 192.8 meters to a remarkable 303.5 meters.

Now, here’s what may be the most notable part. Remember, there is no drug that can slow the progression of osteoarthritis. They can only act as painkillers. But X-rays showed that the people taking the boswellia and celery seed did not only experience pain relief but actually experienced improvement in their osteoarthritis. X-rays showed that there was increased space between the knee joints.

Analysis revealed significant reduction of markers of collagen degradation and significant increases in cartilage synthesis and regeneration. It further revealed significant reduction of several inflammatory markers in the herb group.

The herbs also led to a 40.97% improvement in fatigue compared to an only 4.12% improvement on the placebo and enhanced quality of life.

The boswellia-celery seed combination achieved all of these impressive results with 100% compliance and no adverse events.

This study introduces a potentially game changing herbal strategy for symptom relief, improved quality of life, and even disease reversal for people with mild to moderate osteoarthritis.
